Increase Your Earnings Get a CompTia A +, Network + ,  or Server + Certification

Everyone is looking for ways to make themselves stand out in the job market these days. The information technology space is no exception with millions of jobs being off-shored each year. One way to help give you a leg up on your next job interview or rise to the top for the next promotion is to achieve a technical certification. Certifications are offered by many different groups and vendors, including Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, CISCO, and Comptia.

For professionals in the infrastructure industry, Comptia offers the most widely recognized certifications in the industry. Some of their certifications are listed below. In order to achieve a certifcation from Comptia you need to buy a Comptia Voucher from a provider like ITCareerPro and then sit for the exam at one of two testing centers, Prometric or Vue.

A+ Certification

A + Certification - This certification is the most popular one offered by Comptia. The CompTIA A+ certification is the industry standard for computer support technicians. To achieve the certfication, a technician must show competence in the areas of installation, preventative maintenance, networking, security and troubleshooting.
