 Stop at Krogers for Lowes Gift Cards on the way

I decided to go to my local Kroger to buy Lowes Gift Cards on my way to Lowes. I stopped and bought 13 $50 gift cards and used my Kroger Plus Card. By doing so, I have already qualified for the highest level of gas purchase savings next month. This gives me $.50 off per gallon for 4 fill-ups of up to 30 gallons each. My car hold 21 gallons of gas so I am estimating I will save $40.00 on gas by making the extra stop and use my Kroger Plus Card.

I purchased my gift cards using my Citi Upromise Mastercard giving me an additional $7.00 in my 529 Savings Plan.
